Tri-County Community Action Hosts Community Celebration

Tri-County Community Action Agency hosted "Rock The Block" in June at Constitution Square in South Boston. Several community partners attended in a joint effort to provide resources and shine light on what services are available in the area.

Community members were able to enjoy a day filled with fun activities, food, live entertainment, and free clothing for the entire family. Tri-County plans to continue this initiative each year to empower people and strengthen communities by sharing knowledge, expanding partnerships and connecting with local citizens.

Who we are

The Virginia Community Action Partnership and the Virginia Office of Economic Opportunity works together to provide all Virginia Community Action Agencies with the training and technical assistance needed to be successful. We aim to provide training for all levels of staff at an agency and board members.
