2024 Federal Poverty Guidelines

The 2024 federal poverty guidelines (also referred to as federal poverty levels or lines - FPLs) have been set by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) effective January 17, 2024, These guidelines are published annually and used by a number of federal agencies to help determine eligibility for numerous federal healthcare assistance programs — including Medicare, Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program — as well as the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

Who we are

The Virginia Community Action Partnership and the Virginia Office of Economic Opportunity works together to provide all Virginia Community Action Agencies with the training and technical assistance needed to be successful. We aim to provide training for all levels of staff at an agency and board members.
