Former TAP CEO Annette Lewis was inducted to the NCAF Hall of Fame at the NCAF Conference, March 12-15, in Washington, DC. VACAP Members and representatives from the Office of Economic Opportunity were on hand to celebrate Annette’s achievements. It’s been a busy few weeks for Annette who was also recently recognized for her years of service with VACAP’s Grigsby Award. We congratulate Annette on this prestigious recognition and for keeping community action front and center!
Prior to the NCAF Conference, Annette’s husband was also selected to open the Virginia General Assembly with a prayer and then give special acknowledgement to his wife on the House floor. Delegate Sam Rasoul also recognized Annette for her achievements in Community Action and all she contributed to the region. The following day, Annette traveled to DC as Congressman Ben Cline’s guest for the State of the Union Address.
VACAP’s CEO Erik Johnston was also recognized at the NCAF Conference by David Bradley and NCAF for Outstanding State Association leadership!
