Rooftop also hosted the Hillsville Ukulele Group (known as HUG) to came to play for seniors and friends last month. HUG performs for groups (from children to seniors) all over the area and also get involved in support work. They play at Brenner's Children's Hospital and when they get donations, they use those funds to buy ukuleles and music books for the children in the hospital.

The Head Start centers got involved in Spirit Week at participating schools. The students designed their own fuzzy sweaters to color that day. They also dressed like snowmen, had a flannel day, and watched the Polar Express in their pajamas. (Pictured: Mrs. Catron and one the Head Start students on favorite sweater day.)
