Virginia CAAs Featured on Virginia Public Radio

New River Community Action and People, Inc. were recently featured on Virginia Public Radio. The story highlighted the successes of their home visiting programs. These programs currently assist more than 7,000 families across the state as they navigate the new world of parenting. Not only do the home visits help parents with anxiety and stress related to their new family, but also educate them on services and resources available to them if needed.

Who we are

The Virginia Community Action Partnership and the Virginia Office of Economic Opportunity works together to provide all Virginia Community Action Agencies with the training and technical assistance needed to be successful. We aim to provide training for all levels of staff at an agency and board members.
