Sustainable Strategies for Health Services Workshops

Health-related social support is an emerging opportunity for CBOs is to provide health-related social supports in partnership with health care organizations and other community stakeholders. The Virginia CIHN Collaborative has developed the Sustainable Strategies Program to help CBOs learn and implement sustainable strategies for engaging in this vital work. There are three dates left for free Sustainable Strategies sessions which will provide ideas for new revenue raising models for community action agencies and their partners through partnerships with the Health Care system. These sessions will be virtual for your convenience, so sign up today!

The program is open to individuals and teams from Virginia CBOs interested in creating or strengthening strategies to provide health-related social supports. To register and for more information, please contact Fran Anderson, fanderson@bayaging.org.

As a participant in Sustainable Strategies, you will learn how to:

Envision your organization as part of a community integrated health network.
Identify and approach prospective service partners and funders.
Develop a clear value proposition for providing health-related social supports.
Develop a service model that works for your organization.
Develop a sustainable funding model.
Optimize coordination with community partners.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators.

Who we are

The Virginia Community Action Partnership and the Virginia Office of Economic Opportunity works together to provide all Virginia Community Action Agencies with the training and technical assistance needed to be successful. We aim to provide training for all levels of staff at an agency and board members.
