Tri-County Community Action Releases Results from Needs Assessment

Through surveys, focus groups, and conversations, Tri-County Community Action heard from hundreds of community members about what matters most to the residents in their region.

Community members in Cumberland, Dauphin, and Perry counties shared information guiding the agency to identify top priorities, barriers to stability, and opportunities for growth.

  • Top Priorities Identified: Affordable housing, access to quality childcare, and food insecurity emerged as the most urgent needs.
  • Barriers to Stability: Many families face rising costs of living, limited access to transportation, and gaps in mental health services.
  • Opportunities for Growth: There was a strong desire for job training programs, financial literacy education, and expanded community partnerships.

This data will directly inform Tri-County's programs and initiatives as the work to empower individuals, strengthen families, and build thriving communities.
