VACAP Regional Meetings

The Virginia Community Action Partnership (VACAP) welcomed agency staff, board members, and local department of social services staff at two regional events in May.

The events, held in Wytheville on May 1st and Williamsburg on May 15th, gave approximately 250 community action stakeholders the opportunity to spend a day with their peers discussing best practices, solutions, and experiences.

Mark your calendars for the next statewide event, the VACAP Summit, which will be held on October 22-24 in the Richmond area.

Who we are

The Virginia Community Action Partnership and the Virginia Office of Economic Opportunity works together to provide all Virginia Community Action Agencies with the training and technical assistance needed to be successful. We aim to provide training for all levels of staff at an agency and board members.
