Virginia, the state's lead agency for volunteerism, has launched the Serve
Virginia Volunteer Hub (SVVH) - a free statewide platform built to connect
organizations with volunteers across the Commonwealth. This FREE tool
can help the individuals you serve find volunteer opportunities and help your
organization recruit and manage volunteers.
Here is
what it can do for your organization:
If you already post opportunities with your local volunteer center, those listings will be automatically integrated later this summer—so you won’t need to re-post them, and you’ll still get maximum visibility.
Thousands of Virginians are affected by new SNAP and Medicaid eligibility requirements under HR1. Because community engagement and volunteer hours can help individuals meet these requirements, making service opportunities accessible is more important than ever.
